Every time I read a new article about Vitamin D3 (the sunshine vitamin) researchers have discovered new benefits!
Here’s the link to an article that explains how D3 works and what it does.
Vitamin D3 (<– click here)
Vitamin D3 (read the label) is the proper form of D to take and it’s a really low-cost way to boost your health. If you are one who gets SAD (Seasonal Affective Disorder) in the darker winter months, taking Vitamin D3 may make a big difference. SAD comes on right about the time our bodies start to use up all of the D3 we stored from summer sun.
Your doctor can do a blood test to determine whether you have sufficient D3 if you wish. Some people just don’t absorb enough.
What’s a recommended dose? From what I read by doctors, many recommend 1,000 or 2,000 units once or twice a day. During a sunny summer day, your bare skin can generate up to 20,000 units in a day! 🙂
